  • Henry IV at Fontainebleau

In autumn 2010, the Henry IV exhibition at Fontainebleau will be the grand finale to a year of celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of Henry IV’s death on 14 May 1610. The Château de Fontainebleau will also be organising two related events: an exhibition within a space designed under Henry IV, the Salle de la Belle Cheminée, and there will be a related tour based on the current main tour route, expanded for this event to include specially-opened areas built and decorated during Henry IV’s reign. The Henry IV tour will continue outdoors with a highlighted selection of features dating from Henry the Great’s reign.
