The Salon des Fleurs

The floral motifs which adorn this room at the end of the Princes Wing were commissioned by Empress Eugenie and are the work of Eugene Petit, the artist who also decorated the Elysée palace dining room. At one time connected to the apartment of Napoleon I’s mother, the vestibule leading to this charming salon is decorated with busts from the Galerie des Consuls in the Tuileries Palace.
