The gallery of the kings of France – From Clovis to Louis-Philippe

FRENCH LANGUAGE With a new conception, this book offers the possibility to travel without any problems through the reigns of all the kings of France, from Clovis king of the Franks to Louis-Philippe, the last and only one to bear the title as king of the French. This very elaborate checklist covers more than thirteen centuries of the monarchy. It is illustrated with superb hand-coloured engravings. Original tables and maps make it possible to compare the duration of the reigns and to locate on a map the historical sites cited in the text, where the history of France was written.
