American Friends of château de Fontainebleau

The American Friends support the château de Fontainebleau’s ongoing commitment to share and restore works of art. They are dedicated to fostering philanthropic support for the conservation, dissemination, and enjoyment of the value and excellence of French architecture, art history, history, and the French art of living for the benefit of today’s and future generations.

Following the footsteps of John D. Rockefeller, we encourage you to support Fontainebleau to help maintain this masterwork, witness of 8 centuries of Art History. In Fontainebleau, you will find a unique atmosphere and prestigious projects to give for.

U.S.-based donors can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through a contribution to the American Friends of Château de Fontainebleau at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions. If you wish to support us, here is how to proceed :

  • Gifts by check : Address your check to KBFUS, write “Château de Fontainebleau” in the memo section of the check, and send it to KBFUS, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10020.
  • Gifts by credit card : HERE
  • Gifts by wire transfer or to contribute other types of property : Contact KBFUS via email at info@kbfus.org or phone (212) 713-7660.
