Exclusive! Free electronic music concerts at the château this Saturday

Le 4 September

On Saturday 4th at 6 p.m., the château de Fontainebleau welcomes a ZUT, a free electronic music concert with headphones. Come discover the beautiful cour des Offices in a festive and unusual way!

The ZUT are an exceptional artistic initiative, supported by the Ministry of Culture, that aims to create temporary open-air venues in France that offer artistic and festive activities during the summer of 2021. They are an initiative of the public institution of the park and Great Hall of la Villette and Technopol. The ZUT program establishes great projects with moments of sharing and artistic innovation centred on many things, including electronic music.

For the beginning of the fall season, the château de Fontainebleau wants to back up this project to support artists and make the chateau a privileged place for the encounter of artists and publics with, in this case, an inclusive, ethical, free and committed cultural model.

The château de Fontainebleau ZUT

On the 4th of September, two renowned artists will perform live at the château. Both concerts are free and will occur in the cour des Offices of the Henri the 4th ‘s quarter (accessible from the place d’Armes) at 6 p.m. The format is innovative as the crowd will be wearing headphones all along !
The château is accessible by train from the Gare de Lyon and totally free for people under 26 : it is possible to get tickets online before the concerts to enjoy fully the experience.

The artists

From 6 pm to 7.30 pm : Breakbot  (Ed Banger Records)

Breakbot has made his first steps in the music industry with a remix of Justice’s song “Let There Be Light”. He started collaborating with Irfane in 2000.

In 2021, Breakbot co-produced 8 songs from Clara Luciani’s second album “Cœur”..

With his unique style, he is definitely the electronic wave of tomorrow.

From 7.30 pm to 9 pm : Maud Geffray (Pan European)

With 3 albums among the Scratch Massive duo, Maud Geffray has redefined electronic music by filtering it with the 80’s new-wave. First time as an independant artist in 2016 with “1994”, or with video rushes in the dunes of Carnac. Maud made a melancolic soundtrack which questionned the notions of danse, youth, freedom and escape.
