The Fontainebleau Schools of Music and Fine Arts, under the high patronage of the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
Since 1921, the Fontainebleau Schools of Music and Fine Arts (or Ecoles d’art américaines de Fontainebleau in french) have welcomed young musicians from all over the world in order to transmit French culture to them and promote the influence of France. Consisting of the famous “American Conservatory” coupled with a School of Fine Arts, the Schools of Music and Fine Arts brings together a team of prestigious musicians recognized for their artistic and educational talents.
The Château de Fontainebleau and the Schools of Music and Fine Arts, under the artistic direction of cellist Diana Ligeti, have made this summer academy a true festival dedicated to excellence, working towards creation and meeting all audiences.
