It shows the female figure with her breast unveiled wearing a crown of laurel and reclining on a pedestal decorated with Acanthus scrolls at the end. There are also ribbon bows at the bottom of the panel. The lower part is made of partitions with the figure of a man holding garlands, a seated female and part of a hand holding a garland. This study should be compared with two other drawings made by Delacroix in Anne of Austria&apos;s apartment &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>one with a painted piece of the panelling and the other reproducing part of the room&apos;s ceiling (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-42c54656 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"42c54656\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-no\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-688ab9d1\" data-id=\"688ab9d1\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-38728ef2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"38728ef2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>These watercolours dated as 1841 or 1846 might have been used by Delacroix in his plans to design the library in the Luxembourg Palace (1841-1846), the library in the Palais-Bourbon (1838-1847) or for the ceiling of the Salon de la Paix in Paris\u2019 H\u00f4tel de Ville (1852-1854).
