American Art Schools Festival

Du 3 July
au 29 July

The Festival of American Art Schools returns for another edition! This year, the festival celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Architecture and music take center stage in the château and English garden. The July program includes lectures, guided tours and musical walks.

Since 1921, the American Art Schools of Fontainebleau (EAAF) have welcomed young musicians from all over the world in order to pass on French culture and promote the influence of France. Consisting of the famous “American Conservatory” coupled with a School of Fine Arts, the American Art Schools academy brings together a team of prestigious musicians renowned for their artistic and pedagogical talents.

The Château de Fontainebleau and the American Schools of Art, under the artistic direction of cellist Diana Ligeti and architect Anthony Béchu, have turned this summer academy into a veritable festival dedicated to excellence, working to create and bring together all audiences.
