Favorite activities

Fontainebleau is also a vast forest of 22,000 hectares, recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, which will offer you an absolute change of scenery. It was for this large hunting ground, very popular with the sovereigns, that the castle was created as a hunting lodge. This peaceful forest will welcome you for walks with family or friends.

Opt for the escapade, a walk in the middle of nature or unusual activities like dog sledding!
