The route of the Torch Relay through the city and château

WARNING : This large-scale event means that the route of the Torch must be made safe, with the roads concerned closed to traffic and parking. Don’t forget to plan ahead for the big day.
The Torch Relay passes through the château
From 7:30 a.m. : opening of the Honor Gate
At 8.20 a.m. : closing of the main gate. The gate will remain open
Around 8:30 a.m. : arrival of the Torch Relay through the Diana’s garden (closed to the public)
Around 8.35 a.m. : The Torch Relay passes through the horseshoe-shaped staircase and the central aisle of the Honor Courtyard, with a modern pentathlon relay (swimmer, horseman, fencer, rifleman and runner) paying homage to the pentathlon event at the 1924 Olympic Games !
From 2.30 pm to 6 pm : Jeu de Paume demonstrations.
Free admission from 2.30pm to 6pm, in the Jeu de Paume room of the château (entrance via the Honor Courtyard).
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Early arrival at the château is recommended. Spectator areas are provided along the entire route, with the exception of rue Paul Séramy and Diana’s garden. The Honor Courtyard will be open free of charge from 7.30 a.m. for the occasion. The other gardens will be closed. If you wish to enjoy the Torch earlier (Quartier du Bréau, Avenant des Cascades or the Town Hall), you will not be able to reach the Honor Courtyard in time.
