Christmas Concert of the Balthasar Neumann Choir and Ensemble
A musical and festive journey through countries and eras, from Baroque masters to English and American Christmas carols with jazzy sounds.
At court, when the sovereign appeared for an event, his entry was announced by trumpets and timpani. True to this tradition, the Christmas concert will open with brass bands. This will be followed by emblematic Baroque works combining singing and instrumental music. Finally, the “Brass Band” of the Balthasar Neumann ensemble will perform jazz versions of classic Christmas carols!

Family visit “Princesses from the Cold”
Discover the story of Marie Leszcynska and Hélène de Mecklenburg-Schwerin, two princesses from the North who, by marrying at Fontainebleau King Louis XV and the son of King Louis-Philippe, the Duke of Orléans, brought the tradition of Christmas trees to the court of France.
