Safety Instructions for the Historical Re-enactments

In accordance with the Vigipirate plan, all visitors to the Château de Fontainebleau must undergo security checks. The Establishment thanks you in advance for your understanding and apologizes for any delays that may be caused by security checks at the entrances. It is recommended that individual visitors and groups arrive a little early in order to facilitate entry to the estate.

We invite you to come to the chateau without a suitcase or a large bag; These are not allowed inside the estate.

Only luggage not exceeding the maximum dimensions (55cm x 35cm x 20cm) is admitted; It must be deposited in a locker after having been checked.

Drinks, food and animals are not allowed inside the estate. Strollers are allowed in the outdoor areas but cannot circulate inside the chateau. Strollers can be left at the locker. You will also be able to leave your strollers outside the chateau areas but we would like to draw your attention to the fact that they will not be supervised outside the lockers.

Umbrellas are allowed but must be stored in a bag (provided by the Establishment) before entering the castle.

The purpose of these measures is to facilitate the conduct of the event and to guarantee the safety of all.

Thank you for your understanding.
