Exceptional concerts by Thomas Hengelbrock
Hengelbrock dirige l’Eroica
Thomas Hengelbrock is back at the Château de Fontainebleau to conduct Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony No. 3. This concert-event will bring together the musicians of the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra with young singers from the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris.

La Nuit des Musées
The 19th edition of la Nuit européenne des Musées will take place on Saturday 13 May 2023. On this occasion, the château will open the doors of its tour circuit for free, from 8pm to midnight.
A participative show “Fêtes au château”, proposed by the association Orchestre à l’école, will tell you the story of festivals. Musicians, actors and a lecturer will bring the Galerie des Cerfs to life!

Contemporary art tour

In partnership with the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, the Château de Fontainebleau is offering for the very first time an outdoor contemporary art tour. Come and enjoy a playful journey to discover works of art with a touch of surrealism in the heart of an exceptional vegetal scenery.

12th edition | Theme: the climate | Invited country: Belgium
Come and enjoy more than 300 activities at the castle and in the surrounding partner locations to discuss the theme of climate or the ancient and contemporary artistic productions of Belgium. Workshops on carnivorous plants or comic strips, as well as unforgettable or unique guided tours will amaze young and old! Conferences, round tables and film screenings will punctuate these festive days.
The book fair will be back with a new format, organised by the RMN – Grand Palais.
